"John Deer" Flowers

 February is my birthday month and it is cold in Colorado. A friend of mine gave me these lovely sunflowers to brighten my birthday before all the snow arrived. We call them the "john deer" flowers named by her son (my son's best friend), because they are yellow and green! Love them and love her little boy! 

Getting Crazy at the Whole Foods Produce Department

I started the "every day picture" assignment today. Not surprised that I found my shot at the WFM produce department, considering how much time I spend in that store and grocery shopping in general.

I came upon this vegetable section and thought the colors were amazing. I  just love how the vegetables tell a story with their colors and sizes.
